Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in two dynamic educational settings in the Chagrin Falls and Concord Township areas of Ohio. This contract-based role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within specialized and STEM-focused schools, serving a diverse range of students from grades 6-12. The schedule allows for focused support, with approximately 15 hours per weekone 7-hour day at each locationrunning from August 24th through May 31st.

Your expertise will be essential in providing speech-language pathology services to students, including those with unique social-emotional and academic needs. Whether you are a seasoned SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CFY), this is an ideal position to contribute your skills, develop professionally, and foster positive change in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or eligibility for Ohio SLP licensure
  • SLP-CCC or CFY completion status
  • Experience or interest in working with students with emotional disturbances and/or diverse backgrounds
  • Knowledge of IEPs, school-based documentation, and treatment planning
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services in both specialized and STEM school settings
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary student support teams
  • Offer guidance to teachers and school staff to promote student success
