Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and legal standards
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
