Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) who are passionate about supporting K-12 students. This on-site, contract position offers the chance to make a real impact while maintaining a work-life balance with a part-time schedule. Assignments are conveniently located near Raleigh, NC, with a start date of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required; CFYs not accepted)
- Possession of a professional license and an educator certificate
- At least one year of experience working in a school-based setting
- Willingness to obtain an NPI number and complete registration with NC Tracks prior to the contract start date
- Able to pass DCDEE fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive SLP services to student caseloads (number of schools and specific age groups may vary)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to deliver holistic, student-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports as required by the district
- Implement evidence-based interventions and adapt to each student's unique needs
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to IEP processes
This contract role features up to 20 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments while making a difference in students lives.
