Job Description
Step into an impactful role supporting students communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a dynamic school setting near San Antonio, TX. This contract opportunity begins August 17, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) across a cluster of school sites in the Roosevelt area. Youll join a collaborative team dedicated to student success while working onsite at one of several assigned elementary, middle, or high school locations.
Whether you hold your CCC or are a Clinical Fellow (CFY) seeking supervised experience, your expertise is valued here. Your assignment will be based on district needs and determined after the interview process.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid, active state SLP license (CCC required; CFY considered with supervision provided)
- Ability to pass required fingerprinting and background check
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students (caseloads/ages TBD)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide consultative support and resources as needed within your assigned campus
