Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually or in small groups
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and update individualized education program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students overall success
• Offer strategies and resources for classroom and home use to enhance students communication skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for accommodations and interventions
