Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners as a key member of a dedicated school-based SLP team near Schertz, TX. This role begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, spanning a full academic year.
As an evaluator for the Early Childhood team, you will provide specialized services tailored to young children and supervise an SLPA assigned to a small bilingual caseload. Fluency in Spanish is essential, as youll bridge communication gaps and facilitate access to speech-language services for all students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas required.
- Credentials: SLP-CCC preferred, will consider SLP-CFY.
- Prior experience in school settings and/or pediatric caseloads is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
- Experience with early childhood populations.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for early childhood students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and intervention plans.
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA managing a small bilingual caseload.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Engage with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure optimal student progress.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
