Job Description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a difference in a school-based setting. This assignment spans from August 5, 2026, through December 19, 2026, with potential for extension through the end of the school year. Youll work a steady 35-hour workweek, providing essential support to a diverse K-12 student population. While onsite services are preferred, virtual options will be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Georgia SLP license
  • Current GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) certification
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP role, especially with K-12 caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning communities
  • Support students success both academically and socially
