Job Description
An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a difference in a school-based setting. This assignment spans from August 5, 2026, through December 19, 2026, with potential for extension through the end of the school year. Youll work a steady 35-hour workweek, providing essential support to a diverse K-12 student population. While onsite services are preferred, virtual options will be considered for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Georgia SLP license
- Current GaPSC (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) certification
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role, especially with K-12 caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning communities
- Support students success both academically and socially
