Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged children at a vibrant Child Development Center. You'll work alongside two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, collaborating to make a meaningful impact in the lives of 3- to 4-year-old learners. Your expertise in speech-language pathology will be instrumental in assessing and delivering direct therapy to preschool students, fostering communication and language development during these crucial early years. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- South Carolina Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in schools or in early childhood settings strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of early language intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and engaging with families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged children
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with classroom staff, fellow SLPs, and families to maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
