Bring your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology to an engaging full-time contract opportunity supporting students in an educational setting near Sterling Heights, MI. This position is ideal for motivated SLPsincluding those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)with a passion for pediatric care and advancing communication skills through in-person and teletherapy services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP roles highly valued
- Comfortable delivering individualized therapy via traditional and virtual platforms
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
- Deliver therapeutic interventions in both onsite and teletherapy formats as required
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for student success
- Provide education and support to school staff and families on speech and language development
- Stay current on best practices and participate in professional development
