Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Stockton, CA. This full-time role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. Youll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, providing your expertise across a diverse caseload of up to 60 students.
Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
- Experience working with TK-8th grade populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans
- Familiarity with school-based therapy best practices and compliance standards
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in small groups and individual settings
- Create, update, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments to determine students communication needs
- Participate in team meetings to support student progress and provide guidance
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, staff, and families to foster student growth
