Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists interested in making a lasting impact in Metro Atlanta area schools! Interviewing now for the 2026/27 school year, these onsite, contract positions offer both full-time (35 hours/week) and select part-time roles working directly with students across varying age groupsfrom preschool to high school.
Youll be assigned to one primary campus for most positions, ensuring strong connections with students and staff. Caseloads will be thoughtfully matched to sites such as elementary campuses, preschools, specialty units, or a blend of environments supporting diverse student needs. Opportunities for bilingual SLPs are available and especially valued in certain locations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP license
- Current Georgia DOE certification
- Previous experience in school-based SLP or passion for working with school-aged children
- Bilingual proficiency (a plus, with added opportunities for select assignments)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and caseload management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP/educational meetings
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment to maximize student growth
