Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state license or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric environments strongly preferred
  • Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Design individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Provide training and guidance to teachers and families to foster communication success
