Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state license or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric environments strongly preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Design individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and support staff
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Provide training and guidance to teachers and families to foster communication success
