Job Description
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in telespeech and teletherapy services, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This full-time or part-time opportunity offers flexibility with scheduling options ranging from 3 to 5 days per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy services via telepractice to school-aged children
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation of services rendered
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines governing special education and teletherapy practices
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting, both in-person and through teletherapy platforms
- Strong knowledge of early childhood through high school speech and language development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills conducive to virtual service delivery
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively across a remote environment
Location: Cresbard, SD (services delivered via teletherapy)
