Job Description
Make a real difference supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community! This full-time contract opportunity welcomes both experienced SLP-CCC professionals and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFY) ready to gain hands-on experience. Working 35-37.5 hours per week, youll have the chance to provide crucial speech and language intervention, assessment, and support for diverse student populations.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Masters degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field required
- Valid California SLP license
- School-based experience preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of current therapy techniques, including individualized and group interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy to students in K-12 settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and support documentation
- Engage with families and teachers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate in IEP meetings, in-services, and ongoing professional development
