Make a difference in the lives of elementary students with this exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist! In this role, you'll serve vibrant K-3rd grade classrooms and work full-time, 40 hours per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children, is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Ability to independently conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and evaluation services for K-3rd grade students
- Administer thorough assessments to identify communication disorders and develop targeted IEP goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social success
- Provide direct intervention using evidence-based practices tailored to each childs needs
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
