Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid CA SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcomed
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 caseloads in a school-based setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and success
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to students, onsite, across grade levels K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following IEP guidelines
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate clearly with families and staff
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to promote students' academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise for speech-language related goals
- Maintain accurate records and meet compliance standards
