Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services to young learners in a school-based setting near Winton, CA. Experience the chance to work full time, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, starting July 17th, 2026. You'll play a vital role supporting PreK through 1st grade students with a starting caseload of 35potentially extending to 55 as needs arise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in educational environments
- Solid understanding of age-appropriate interventions for early elementary ages
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to on-site presence as required
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in PreK-1st grade on a consistent, full-time basis
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and developing student-centered goals
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation of student progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to generalize skills and support carryover beyond therapy sessions
- Adapt therapeutic approaches based on student response and latest best practices
