Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist this summer. You'll have the opportunity to work on a contract basis with a friendly and collaborative educational team, helping children build essential communication skills for academic and social success.
Starting July 6th and concluding August 6th, you'll enjoy a balanced workweek of 20 hours across four days, giving you meaningful clinical experience while maintaining flexibility for your personal pursuits. This short-term assignment invites passionate professionalswhether you hold your CCCs, are a recent graduate starting your Clinical Fellowship Year, or have pediatric or school-based SLP experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts SLP License required
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- ASHA CCCs or CFY welcome
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse K-12 caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student goals
- Deliver therapy in both individual and small group settings
