Highlights of what we're seeking:
- Valid and active Minnesota SLPA license (must be in hand at time of interview)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLPA experience is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt and support diverse learners in individualized ways
What youll do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students as guided by supervising SLPs
- Assist in implementing therapy activities and carry out established treatment plans
- Document student progress, maintain records, and report outcomes to the supervising SLP and instructional staff
- Collaborate closely with the school team to support generalization of skills across academic settings
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing classroom strategies that facilitate effective communication
- Maintain professional and ethical standards while working with children, families, and staff
This contract role begins February 17, 2026, and continues through June 5, 2026. You will work onsite, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within an elementary caseload (specific schools assigned after placement).
