Qualifications:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program
• Current state licensure as a school social worker
• Specialized school social work certification
• Experience working within diverse school settings is highly valued
• Excellent communication, assessment, and advocacy skills
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students social, emotional, and academic needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to design intervention plans for at-risk students
• Serve as a liaison between school and community agencies, connecting families to support services
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings; contribute expert input to student support plans
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Promote a positive, inclusive school climate
