Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Milwaukee area as a social worker serving K-12th grade across a dynamic school setting. Beginning January 2026 through June 2026, youll make a meaningful impact while collaborating with educators, families, and the greater school community.
Your role will center on providing social-emotional support, advocating for students needs, and helping to develop interventions that foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. The schedule offers 3037.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and offer continuity of care for your caseload.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active State License required
- Experience supporting students across K-12th grade preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with case documentation and writing intervention plans
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered service
You will:
- Manage an assigned student caseload, delivering direct support and counseling
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Implement individualized interventions and monitor progress
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide resources to students and families
- Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation
