ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support an elementary school caseload in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area (St. Louis Park region) for the 20262027 school year. This full-time, school-based role involves working at a single elementary site while supporting both general education and special education students. This is a great opportunity for professionals experienced in IEP services, student support, and family engagement.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, school-based role for the 20262027 school year
- On-site position at one elementary school
- Mix of general education and special education support
- Collaborative school team and supportive district environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to elementary students
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, and social needs
- Participate in IEP-related services and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies for student success
- Support family engagement and communication
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Minnesota guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota School Social Worker license/certification
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Experience in school-based or child/adolescent settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience with IEP services and school-based consultation preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
