Travel School Social Worker / School Psychologist | Statewide Maine
$68+/hr Equivalent Pay Rate for Travel Candidates with dual certifications
This is a statewide Maine opportunity and an excellent option for professionals who are open to traveling or relocating for the school year. Candidates with both Psychology and Social Work credentials are strongly preferred, with opportunities to provide services in both areas.

Position Details
- Assignment Dates: 08/31/2026 06/09/2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours/week
- Grade Levels: Pre-K8th grade
- Orientation & Safety Training: Ideally 08/2408/28/2026
- Attendance during this week is preferred, but not a dealbreaker
- Location: Statewide Maine opportunity
Social Work Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Support students with emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Other Health Impairments (OHI)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based support teams
- Provide social-emotional and behavioral support within the school setting
Social Work Requirements:
- LSW required
- LCSW preferred, but not required
- School-based experience preferred
Dual-Certification Opportunity
Candidates with both School Psychology and Social Work credentials may take on additional responsibilities, including:
- Supporting a team of School Psychologists with reevaluations
- Potentially providing services across up to four schools, K-12
- Utilizing both Psychology and Social Work expertise to support students and school teams
