Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Specialized certification in school social work
• Current state licensure to practice as a school social worker
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Experience working with diverse student populations is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support student wellness and success
• Advocate for students social-emotional and behavioral needs within the educational environment
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement culturally sensitive intervention plans
• Provide crisis intervention, support for at-risk youth, and assist in conflict resolution strategies
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate in creating a positive, safe, and inclusive school climate
