Exciting contract opportunities are available for skilled Special Education Teachers to support students in dynamic, inclusive school environments near Avon, CO. Two positions are open, serving distinct age groups from early childhood to middle school. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for early childhood or middle school populations
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and support services
• Flexible mindset to adapt to multiple locations and school settings
• Previous experience supporting PreK or grades 6-8 students with varied learning needs preferred

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• Provide effective special education services to assigned caseload (1020 students for PreK; 22 for middle school)
• Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs in both structured and natural environments
• Work onsite at multiple district locations (PreK role); primary site for grades 6-8 position with possible virtual consideration (in-person preferred)
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to improve student success
• Document progress and maintain required records with attention to compliance and accuracy
• Participate in IEP meetings, school in-services, and professional development

Hours per week are 40, with schedules of 7:30-3:30 for early childhood (PreK, multiple sites) running 8/10/265/28/2027, and 8:00-4:00 for grades 6-8 (primary middle school site) running 8/10/265/28.
