Located near Bennington, NE, this position begins August 10, 2026, and runs through either December 18, 2026, or May 25, 2027, offering flexibility for those seeking a single semester or full academic year experience.

Youll work with a manageable caseload of 20-25 students, supporting their academic development and helping them thrive in a high school environment. Typical daily responsibilities include resource room teaching, managing paperwork, facilitating resource study halls, and co-teaching with general education staff as needed.

Your role will help bridge learning gaps and empower students to achieve their goals in an inclusive educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification relevant to high school level
• Experience with resource room services and co-teaching highly preferred
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related paperwork
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credentials a plus, especially for supporting students with medical needs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in school-based environments is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction in resource settings and co-taught classrooms
• Maintain accurate student records and complete special education documentation
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, families, and service providers
• Supervise and assist during study halls to support student learning
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting as required
