An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Special Education Teachers seeking a rewarding role for the upcoming academic year. Based near Boscobel, WI, this contract position serves students requiring push-in and pullout academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning (SEL) support. Enjoy a balanced caseload of 10-16 students and collaborate with a dedicated team focused on student growth and achievement.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (or eligibility to obtain) for Wisconsin
- Proven experience delivering academic, behavioral, and SEL instruction in a resource or inclusion setting
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP implementation
- Ability to cultivate positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and staff
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement targeted push-in and pullout lessons tailored to individual student goals
- Develop, monitor, and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and administration
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages student growth and self-advocacy
- Collect and analyze student data to adjust instruction and interventions
- Engage regularly with families regarding student progress, successes, and areas for development
