Qualified candidates will possess:
- An active state teaching license
- Experience with special education instruction at the elementary, middle, or high school level (grades K-12)
- Strong ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
In this role, youll:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction, assessment, and behavioral support to students with a wide range of exceptionalities
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students unique strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student success
- Engage families in their childs learning and progress
- Maintain accurate records and consistent documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements
- Support a safe and respectful classroom that encourages academic and social growth
