Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state requirements must be met)
• Experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for working with diverse learners and adapting instructional strategies
• Comfort with assistive technology and differentiated instruction methods

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing assessment of student progress
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Foster a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
