Step into a highly collaborative environment at a thriving charter school supporting scholars from kindergarten through seventh grade. As a Special Education Teacher, youll work alongside a dedicated team that includes a School Psychologist, SLP, OT, and fellow Special Education professionals. The role runs now through May 29th, during regular school hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 am 3:30 pm), ideal for educators seeking a contract position within an enriching academic setting.

Youll share responsibility for a caseload currently split from 27+ students, primarily serving grades 4-7, although exact grade assignments may adjust as caseloads are divided and new evaluations are completed. Your expertise, compassion, and adaptability will be essential as you contribute to individual education planning, deliver effective instruction, and support students growth.

What were seeking:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification or licensure (or eligibility for state requirements)
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs for a diverse range of learning needs
• Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and willingness to learn our classical educational framework
• Effective communication with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with academic assessment tools such as the WIAT (a plus, but not required)
