About the Role:

ProCare Therapy is partnering with Sheridan School District to hire a qualified Special Education Teacher for the 20262027 school year. We are seeking a qualified Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students. This position focuses on providing targeted instruction and academic support in both push-in and pull-out settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide resource support in reading, math, and other core academic areas
Develop and implement individualized instruction based on IEP goals
Support students in general education classrooms through co-teaching and consultation
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with general education staff and special education team members
Participate in IEP meetings and compliance documentation

Position Details:

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Dates: August 11, 2026 May 26, 2027
Onsite position

Qualifications:

Valid South Carolina Special Education certification (or eligibility)
Experience in a resource or inclusion setting preferred
Strong collaboration and instructional skills
Ability to support middle school learners academically and behaviorally

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.82 to $49.82. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
