Ideal Qualifications:

  • Valid LBS1 Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience with middle school-aged children in a self-contained special education setting
  • Strong foundation in math instruction and curriculum adaptation for diverse learners
  • Ability to create an engaging, supportive, and structured classroom environment
  • Collaborative mindset for working with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
  • Skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and empowering students of all abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated math instruction tailored to students learning profiles
  • Develop, review, and implement IEPs in collaboration with the school team and families
