ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 20262027 school year in Kelseyville, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students in a Special Day Class (SDC) setting while fostering academic, social, behavioral, and functional growth in a collaborative educational environment.
This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve their educational goals while working alongside supportive school teams and families.
Work Schedule:

Qualifications:
Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential required
- Previous experience working in a Special Day Class (SDC) setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Commitment to creating a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and educational needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and functional skill development
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.34 to $48.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
