Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with PK-5th grade students preferred
- Skilled in supporting students with moderate behavioral needs
- Able to work effectively in both self-contained and push-in classroom settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to diverse learning needs across PK-5 grades
- Implement behavior management strategies for students with moderate needs
- Adapt curriculum and provide accommodations based on individual education plans (IEPs)
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
