Make a difference in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year! We are seeking two dedicated educatorsone for Elementary and one for High Schoolwho are passionate about supporting learners near Lebanon, NH. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 to June 2027, offering full-time hours Monday through Friday (32-37.5 hours per week). Ideal Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification or ability to obtain it for the duration of the contract.
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students with special needs at the elementary or high school level.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and experience implementing them.
- Skilled in differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Implement IEPs and track student progress with detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to provide comprehensive support.
- Foster a welcoming classroom that cultivates growth, confidence, and independence for students with disabilities.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials for academic and behavioral success.
