Desired Qualifications:
- Valid WI Cross Categorical K-5 Certification is required
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students facing significant behavioral needs, physical disabilities, or autism
- Ability to adapt instruction and classroom management for students with various learning and behavioral support requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively with paras, families, and related service staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
Key Duties:
- Design and implement IEPs and individualized behavioral/academic strategies
- Manage a caseload that could range from 27 students (Position 1: students with significant behaviors; Position 2: students with physical disabilities and autism)
- Collaborate closely with paraeducators to deliver consistent support and engagement for all students
- Maintain thorough data and documentation for progress monitoring and compliance
- Promote social, emotional, and academic growth through positive reinforcement and tailored interventions
- Attend and contribute to case conferences, team meetings, and professional development as required
