This contract opportunity offers a rewarding position for an experienced Special Education Teacher eager to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. The assignment runs from August 11th, 2026, to June 4th, 2027, covering the full school year and providing a full-time, onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• California Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility to obtain
• Demonstrated experience working with students in special education programs
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), and ability to monitor, document, and assess student progress
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to unique student needs
• Flexibility and a compassionate approach to foster a supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt curriculum for students with diverse learning needs
• Prepare IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Provide direct instruction and classroom management for assigned caseload
• Employ various teaching methodologies to accommodate students learning styles
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress, communicating updates effectively to families and staff
