Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher with a valid California Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) credential for the 20262027 school year in Patterson, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students with Autism in a specialized classroom while making a meaningful impact on their academic, behavioral, communication, and functional development.
This assignment provides the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational team focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Autism Special Education Classroom
Qualifications:
Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe authorization required
Candidates holding other qualifying California Special Education credentials that authorize service in this setting are encouraged to apply
Experience working with students with Autism and/or Moderate/Severe disabilities preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions
Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills
Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
