Qualifications:
- Special Education Teacher certification (SPED) with active licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it
- PA state clearances within the last year, or willingness to renew quickly
- Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction to a class of approximately 12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work full-time hours: 7:45am4:00pm, from August 24th through June 11th
- Assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with school staff, support personnel, and families
