Qualifications:

  • Special Education Teacher certification (SPED) with active licensure in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain it
  • PA state clearances within the last year, or willingness to renew quickly
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored instruction to a class of approximately 12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work full-time hours: 7:45am4:00pm, from August 24th through June 11th
  • Assess student progress and adapt instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff, support personnel, and families
