Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Current State Special Education Certification
- Previous experience working with elementary school students is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and implementation
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instructional support to K-4 students as a resource teacher in accordance with IEP goals and identified needs
- Develop, modify, and deliver individualized lesson plans and interventions
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Maintain and document student progress toward IEP objectives
- Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
