Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Alabama Special Education Teacher Certification
- Demonstrated experience with special education populations within elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to support classroom and individual educational plans
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school administrators
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and adapt lesson plans for individualized student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodation and modifications are in place
- Contribute to IEP development and participate in meetings
