Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings

• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to equity in education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and areas for growth
• Adapt instructional materials and methods for students with various disabilities
• Track student progress and communicate achievements and challenges to parents and staff
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services
• Uphold documentation and compliance standards according to legal and district guidelines
