Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (as required by state)
- Experience in math instruction, ideally in inclusion environments
- Expertise with 5th and 6th grade learners
- Familiarity with individualized (1:1) and group instruction strategies
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Co-teach with general education faculty in an inclusion math setting
- Deliver customized, 1:1 targeted math support via pull-in model
- Assess and document student progress, adapting instruction as necessary
- Collaborate in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and families
