Position 1: Engage with a small elementary caseload (starting with 2 students, with potential to grow to 7), supporting students who demonstrate significant behavioral needs. Benefit from in-classroom para support and a collaborative, student-focused environment.
Position 2: Work closely with a caseload of up to 8 elementary students with varying physical disabilities and autism. Youll enjoy the partnership of a paraprofessional and a supportive team, ensuring individualized attention and tailored instruction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Wisconsin Cross Categorical K-5 Certification required (WI Cross Cat k-5 Cert)
- Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Ability to implement individualized education plans and positive behavior supports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt instruction and classroom management techniques
- Passion for empowering all learners and celebrating individual achievements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with colleagues and families
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
- Collaborate with in-class paraprofessional and other team members
- Track student growth and modify approaches as needed
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Youll find fulfillment in creative problem-solving, meaningful student relationships, and daily professional collaboration.
