Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) services to deliver telehealth instruction within an educational setting. This contract role involves providing accessible, individualized support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilizing virtual platforms to ensure effective communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing via telehealth services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams to meet student goals.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide guidance and resources to students, families, and staff to promote inclusive learning environments.
- Utilize technology effectively to facilitate remote learning, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience delivering telehealth educational services in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of auditory-verbal therapy, sign language, and other communication methods relevant to D/HH students.
- Ability to create customized lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Temecula, CA (remote service delivery via telehealth).
