Job Description
A teaching position is available for an educator specializing in instructing Deaf and Hard of Hearing students via telehealth services. This role requires expertise in delivering educational support and accommodations remotely, ensuring accessibility and effective communication for students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students through telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with student needs.
- Collaborate with families and other educational professionals to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction methods as necessary.
- Utilize assistive technology and communication tools appropriate for students with hearing loss.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Experience with telehealth educational delivery.
- Strong knowledge of communication strategies, assistive technology, and educational resources applicable to hearing-impaired learners.
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.
Location: Wildomar, CA
This is a contract position suited for a professional dedicated to fostering inclusive education through remote teaching methodologies.
