Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a school setting
- Competence and compassion in working 1:1 with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school professionals
- Ability to follow care plans, respond swiftly to health needs, and maintain meticulous records
Schedule:
- Full-time hours, aligning with the academic school calendar
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized nursing care to one pediatric student during the school day
- Monitor health status, administer medications, and offer clinical support as specified in the students individualized health plan
- Maintain regular communication with families, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Document all care provided, observations, and incidents diligently
- Support participation in classroom activities by managing and addressing medical needs proactively
- Respond quickly and calmly to any health emergencies
