Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care in a school setting, working one-on-one with a pediatric student for the full upcoming school year. Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, following the school year calendar
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure required
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a school environment
- Experience providing 1:1 care to pediatric patients strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families
- Adaptable and compassionate approach to nursing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one nursing care and supervision to a pediatric student throughout the school day
- Administer medications, monitor health status, and respond to emergencies as needed
- Develop and follow individualized healthcare plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare team members to ensure student support
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of care and any incidents
- Participate in meetings to review student progress and update care plans
