Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active North Carolina APE teaching or Physical Therapy license or be eligible for reciprocal licensing if certified in another state
- School experience is preferred, but motivated new educators are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate dedication to fostering a positive, adaptive learning environment and a strong professional work ethic
- Ready and willing to work exclusively on-site; travel professionals are welcomed and supported with weekly, untaxed housing and meal stipends
- A genuine passion for helping students reach their physical and personal potential
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement adaptive physical education curricula tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and create tailored goals and plans based on students abilities
- Track student growth, provide regular updates, and adjust programs as necessary
- Maintain a safe, encouraging learning atmosphere for all participants
