Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology
- Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for adapting to a dynamic educational environment
Primary Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for students, with a focus on individualized, 1:1 needs
- Interpret test results and develop tailored intervention plans
- Fit, monitor, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other school professionals to support student learning
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and auditory support
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and staff
